Zydeco Trail Ride Update

The 'Zydeco Trail Ride' is embarking on a new journey. In the coming months Texas Fred the Zydeco Cowboy can be heard weekdays. Podcast subscribers can get their daily zydeco fix, along with specials featuring artist interviews, jam sessions and a whole lot more. Stay tuned for the exciting details and podcast launch date.

Since 1999 I have programmed the 'Zydeco Trail Ride' on WPFW 89.3 FM in the Nation's Capital. For five years I programmed 'The Satellite Trail Ride' featuring zydeco and Cajun music for XM Satellite Radio. I hail from Prairie View, Texas where zydeco is an integral part of the trail ride culture of both Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana.
